I’ve been ‘tagged’ on flickr – Funnily enough almost at the same time; firstly from Mindy (Newleaf) and then by Nis very shortly after. I don’t know which is more difficult – the photographing a self portrait or the writing of 16 things about me……..
Anyway, here’s a self-portrait of me (not so much a photograph but more like a drawing based on a photograph) and 16 things (in no particular order) about me that you may or may not already know about 
1. I was born breech; actually in the kneeling breech position. Which apparently is extremely rare – Guess that makes me rather special
2. I was a fat child – So fat that I didn’t walk down a hill… I just rolled myself down. HA HA HA HA HA. But seriously, I was over-weight when I was a child.
3. I went to University to study fine arts and came home with a degree 
4. I’m a fully qualified hair stylist who had the honour (and pleasure) of training under Vidal Sasoon.
5. I sleep walk – Not so much now as an adult, but as a child I do it almost every other day.
6. I once posed nude in front of a class of 30 life-drawing students for an hour-long session. It was the most boring hour of my life – But I did end up sleeping with one of the art students!!!! We went out for about three months or so after that, but it didn’t work out.
7. I’ll be 40 this year (2009). Yippie-Ka-Yeh!!!!
8. I once did a TV commercial in Hong Kong for an international clothing company, where I was totally dressed in drag with the shortest, tightest mini skirt ever and a knee high 12inch leather boots to match, and I had to make out with this hot leather butch on a Harley!!!! It was a wild commercial. I had fun and the pay wasn’t bad either
9. I don’t believe in coincidences – Everything happens for a reason, and there’s a time and place for everything… Just that sometimes it isn’t very clear at that moment, but usually it becomes clear pretty soon.
10. At the point of writing this, I can still put my feet behind my ears.
11. I am convinced that if I’m a girl, I’d be drop-dead gorgeous with boobs to boot. Furthermore, I’d be a total slapper, but a genius with a Masters degree in Quantum Physics!!!
12. I pretend that the only reason I like to watch rugby is because of the rugby boys – In actual fact, I do enjoy the game of rugby and enjoy watching the sport….. ok, the boys are hot too
13. I was diagnosed with OCD (Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder) when I was a child. Because I was diagnosed early, I went through numerous cognitive therapies (my parents were not so shit-hot on the drugs therapies, which I guess is a good thing) which has helped me to adjust. OCD is a long-term mental illness, but I’m coping well.
14. I ABSOLUTELY can’t bear the sight of fresh human blood. Fresh blood from poultry, meat, fish… whatever it is, I’m ok. But the sight of human blood – Booosch!!! I’m gone!!! Faint in three seconds flat !!! I’m ok with human gore & blood on TV or the movies – Just NOT THE REAL THING!!! I once cut myself whilst cooking, I was ok until I saw the blood oozing out of my finger – Bam!!! I hit the floor like a ton of bricks !!!
15. After all these years, I still don’t get the triangle musical instrument – What’s that all about??
16. I did ballet as a child, and I can still do my Grande Plié and my Pas De Chat.
