His lordship and I had an appointment with the Radio-Whatsit clan of happy people this afternoon….
We saw the Chemo-Whatsit people last Wednesday, the Saccharine Suzies (yes, there were more than one… boy, how I wish I could smack them!!!
To quote a very dear friend who had similar experiences: "Your story of the saccharine nurses reminded me of the MacMillan nurse who came to see my dad years ago. She approached him with her palms clasped together, head on one side and exaggerated sympathy oozing out of every pore. When she spoke to him she talked slowly and very loudly in a manner usually reserved for the congenitally stupid. In the end my dad had to tell her he was ill, not deaf."
Anyway…..the chemo dude had spoken to the radio madam, and the radio madam had spoken to the cut-me-up-Scotty dude ….. and this morning they all sat at the round table and discuss about …. well, his lordship’s anus!!! HA HA HA HA … OK, the cancer in his anus…..
We know much more today – That the cancer is in its T2N0 stage. It’s localised. It hasn’t spread elsewhere. And that treatment will start on the 14th of April – a combi of chemo & radio therapy.
I wanted to bring my 5D along today, but decided to go "undercover" with my iPhone instead (which is pointless in terms of covertness as far as covertness is concern because you have to hold your iPhone up at arms length when you take a shot anyway… soooo EVERYONE knows you’re taking a picture!!! LOL)

It‘s quiet in here! Why not leave a response?
