Sunday.. ahhh Sunday!! The day started with a frantic shopping rush for new clothes and shoes… hahhahhahahha. Hell yeah, can’t expect The Twin’s to be wearing the same outfit twice in a weekend, can we now?

It was a black & white theme party over at The Bad Boys. So, iTony and I rushed all over SL, grabbed a black strappy pair of shoes and a black&white babydoll dress, a black riding hat…. and a whip!!! OF COURSE!!!

Off we went to The Bad Boys to whip some bad ass!!! HAHHAHHAH ….. Here are some snaps for your delight (click on the thumbnails to view LARGE!!!).

Saturday was Hollywood Babylon Gala over at the PRIDE sim. It was a charity event to raise funds for the SL Pride event later in the year. Anyway, earlier in the week, my dear friend and partner-in-grime iTony and I was chatting away .. you know, usual stuff like “Guess what? I just saw an avie with the biggest feet in SL” – that sort of things HAHHAHHAHAHAH. (btw, itony did the movie showing at the gala – hundreds and hundreds of hours putting together footages into a FAB movie!!! A MUST SEE OSCAR WINNNING movie clip!!! Was that a bit much? But seriously, you guys must go see it.. way cool!!!)

So, where was I? Ahh yes, PRIDE. Hollywood….. Well… to cut the story short, we became The Starlet Slut Twin. ROFL…… WonderTwins Power ACTIVATE!!!

The thing is, it really got me worried!!! Not knowing what has happened to someone that you greatly care for. The short story is: He’s ok. The not so good news is: He had met with a terrible accident – Which was one of the thing that I fear might have happened.

Broken bones, bruises, medical care and hospital…. He’s home now.. resting & recovering…

Many moons passed (and if you go by SecondLife day cycle, which is every four hours, THATS a lot of moons later ) and many moons later, we got to know each other better, we grew and became friends – good friends. We talked – about our lives, our dreams, art, music, the world, about things that mattered. We laughed, and most of all we shared. SecondLife is the medium, a means of communication, the bridge that brought us together. Though in the real physical world we both live in different parts of the world, through SecondLife we got to know each other and our friendship grew.

Mister Artist cared about the world. He was passionate about the state we are in. About humanity. He wrote music about love, of love. He chanted about peace. He painted canvases that weaved these intricacies.

It was through Mister Artist that I met the lovely Madam K (not long after Mister Artist and I met). We became friends – Three very individual personalities, yet each a vital cog in the wheel….. ok, maybe we don’t exactly run smoothly at times, and the wheel needs massive oiling, yada yada yada …. but we were there, as a unit, providing support for each other – sharing, creating, loving, caring, supporting.

About three weeks ago or so, things were kinda *shitty* for me – We’re talking MAJOR shitty here. Not just the I’ve-Just-Stepped-On-Shite-Whilst-Wearing-My-Best-Jimmy-Choos shitty, BUT MAJOR MAJOR shitty!!! Issues with life – HomeLife, WorkLife, SecondLife… all meshed together into one big GIGANTIC pile of shite!!!

Point is – Wardi was an emotional wreck. Yup!! C’est moi.

Whilst surfing the giant rollercoaster emotional waves, I decided to leave SecondLife (on hindsight, perhaps an indefinite leave of absent would be a better choice of words). So, I went in-world, called upon my two closest friends – Mister Artist and Madam K, and told them the news; That I am planning to leave SecondLife.

It didn’t go at all well.. it went horribly wrong. Mister Artist grew extremely angry and agitated, and left without even giving me a chance to explain – Why I had made such a decision, or what I had in mind, or planned. Madam K left shortly afterwards. I understand why they were angry, and perhaps found my news rather unsettling. I thought they are my closest friends – at least they could have given me the chance to explain and hear me out.

Anyway, the next day, I sent notecards and IMs to both Madam K and Mister Artist, hoping that we could all meet and talk. Madam K and I met up, and we had a very long talk………… Mister Artist, on the other hand, was still angry with me and refused to see/chat/have-anything-to-do with me (dismantling his recent art project from his gallery on the island, changing/reverting the land parcel of his gallery, and even deleting any references to the island/comments-I’ve-Made on his personal forum – all these on the very next day.).

People get angry. We are, afterall, only humans. We react and deal with situations differently and as best as we can. SecondLife may be a virtual metaverse, but the emotions and the friendships that I have build – for Mister Artist and Madam K – are real………….

It’s been two weeks now. I hardly go in-world these days, and if I do it’s just to clear IMs and what-nots. The island is still there – Nothing has changed much. Madam K is still on the island, and we talk when we happen to both be in-world. I still have not heard from Mister Artist.

My grandmother once said to me (God bless her soul in heaven): “Wardi, it takes time. And time, my child, heals all wounds.”

I love you Tony, and I miss you my friend.

It was there in class that he met the most fascinating circuit-board. Now, this is no ordinary circuit-board. It is quite unlike any that the cute little raccoon has ever met!!

“Hello” said the cute little raccoon in his ever-oh-so-cute voice.

“Hello” said the circuit-board, glowing in all the pretty colours of reds, and blues, and indigoes too. (Which happens to be the cute little raccoon’s favourite colour.)

“I am here to learn.” said the raccoon, “I want to learn how to build pretty glowing things.” Now, raccon could not help but notice the beautiful blue eyes of the circuit-board. (Actually, the cute little raccoon could not help himself but notice lots of other beautiful things about the circuit-board.)

The day progressed along, and the cute little racoon had spend the afternoon getting to know the circuit-board. Very soon, it was time to go home. The cute little raccoon felt rather sad that he had to go, because he had grown rather fond of his new friend, the circuit-board. With his little back-pack on his back, the little raccoon made his way back home. Stopping along the way only to have a bite of his chocolate and a drink of his milk; In his fascination with the circuit-board, he had completely forgotten about lunch and he is now feeling rather hungry.

When he finally got home (He had to stop several times more along the way. He met Mr. Fabulous and had to say hello. And he met Miss. Girl Friday weaving a most fascinating tapestry of her musings. The cute little raccoon simply must stop and listen!!), the cute little raccoon felt really happy that he had met the circuit-board. So, he decided to go build a globe with pretty glowing things in it that he may share with the circuit-board.

The little raccoon spent the next few days busy building his little globe with the glowing things in it. And in the meantime, the circuit-board came over for visits (which made the little raccoon very happy, for the little raccoon had grown rather fond of the circuit-board), and his visits inspired the cute little raccoon evermore.

The cute little raccoon and the circuit-board spent many happy hours together; sharing stories, chocolate biscuits and milk in the pretty globe with the glowing things in it.

Well, what’s this got to do with sticking a pen into a pencil sharpener, you are just about to ask? Nothing at all!! Except for the fact that the pretty circuit-board once said to the cute raccoon “Even though a pencil sharpener is meant for a pencil, SOMETIMES you can do ‘interesting things’ if you put a pen into it.”
